The Boarding Department at Pangani Girls Senior School operates through two main hostel blocks containing a total of 12 houses. House Matrons:

Each of the 12 houses has 1-2 dedicated matrons, totaling 18 matrons across both blocks. All matrons are trained in first aid, counseling, and student welfare management.

Boarding Rules & Regulations

Block Security

  • No inter-block movement after 9:00 PM
  • Electronic access cards for all students
  • Security patrols between blocks
  • CCTV surveillance in common areas
  • Visitor registration at main gate only

House Management

  • House captains elected each term
  • Weekly house meetings
  • Rotation of cleaning duties
  • Room inspection every Saturday
  • Respect for house-specific traditions

Health & Safety

  • Mandatory health checks each term
  • Emergency drills monthly
  • First aid kits in each house
  • Report illness immediately to matron
  • No self-medication allowed

Academic Focus

  • Silent hours: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Designated study areas per block
  • Academic mentors assigned
  • Progress reports to house matrons
  • Peer tutoring encouraged

Important Notice:

All boarding students and parents/guardians must sign the Boarding Agreement Form acknowledging understanding and acceptance of these rules. Block-specific regulations apply based on student level. Violations may result in disciplinary action including house transfer or suspension of boarding privileges.
